This breathtaking Victorian Bohemian Garnet necklace comes to us by way of Central Europe, where these deep wine red stones have been mined for hundreds of years. Gaining immense popularity in 18th and 19th century Europe, these stones radiate warmth with their signature glow. Like most traditional Bohemian garnet pieces, the garnets are set in what is known as "garnet gold," a gold-tone metal that puts the focus on each stone and has been found only in these gorgeous handcrafted pieces. This exquisite example of Victorian craftsmanship features over 145 hand-cut garnets. The bezel and prongs settings are original to the piece, as is the clasp, which is stunning in its own right.
- Handcrafted in garnet gold
- Over 145 hand-cut Bohemian garnets totaling approximately 40 carats
- 16" necklace with original clasp
