In 1922, King Tut's tomb was discovered, thus reigniting cultural interest in the ancient world and Egypt specifically. This small charm relief of the Boy King's tomb was an obvious tribute to the discovery, but hieroglyphs and geometric designs effortlessly blended with the art deco aesthetic of the moment.
